This itinerary offers a unique alternative to traditional touring by making the journey itself
the focal point, rather than simply transportation between destinations.

The route begins in Denver and travels through Glenwood Springs and Moab before
concluding in Salt Lake City. Each day delivers a distinct shift in scenery—from alpine
mountain ranges and river canyons to dramatic red rock landscapes and desert terrain. The
glass-dome railcars, combined with onboard storytelling and curated service, create a
seamless and immersive experience that is both visually and emotionally engaging for
clients.

Additionally, I would highly recommend the premier package- the lounge is worth the
additional space to stretch and enjoy the specialty drinks and Whiskey/honey/tea activities
that they offer for premier guests.

The Canyon Spirit also offers several different routes and something for everyone! The
Vegas addition would be great for guests who want to visit several National parks- this is
done via motorcoach the 2-day adventure! Depending on the time of the year, I would also
recommend packing a swimsuit as two of the hotels offered a hotel and in Glenwood
Springs the hot springs. I did not have the extra time to do these activities, but regular
booked clients would typically be able to do this.

Tours- I did not have the option to select between Canyon Lands or Arches, but it is my
understanding that guests will have the option of either one or doing both tours. Canyon
Lands was very easy and accessible for wheelchairs. Arches on the other hand- not so
much.

Connectivity & Onboard Experience

Wi-Fi is available onboard; however, it is inconsistent due to the remote nature of the route, and some areas have little to no cell service. Clients should be advised to plan accordingly and embrace the opportunity to disconnect. Power outlets are available at seats for charging devices throughout the journey.

Dress Code & Comfort

The onboard atmosphere is casual. I strongly recommend dressing in layers, as temperatures fluctuate throughout the day. Mornings can be cool, the sun through the glass-dome cars can create warmer conditions, and air conditioning onboard may feel cold at times. Sunglasses are also recommended due to strong sun exposure.

Dining & Gratuities

Gratuities for onboard hosts and culinary team members are included in the package, which simplifies the guest experience. However, gratuities for excursions are not included. Dining onboard focuses on regional flavors and thoughtfully curated service, enhancing the overall experience.

Hotels & Overnight Logistics

Hotels are well-selected and typically located close to the train station or accessible via motor coach transfers. One important note is that, depending on arrival time, some nearby restaurants may be closed by the time guests check in. Setting expectations or suggesting dining options in advance can improve the overall client experience.

Flights & Transportation

For arrival into Denver, the airport train to Union Station is efficient, approximately 35 minutes, and cost-effective. The station is conveniently located within walking distance of nearby hotels. I used this video to help me know how to navigate the train in Denver https://visitdenver.com/about-denver/transportation/denver-airport-rail/

Additionally, Rocky Mountain National Park is about 2 hours from Denver, and it is such a beautiful park and worth the drive.

For departure from Salt Lake City, train service back to the airport is available and convenient, though it may take longer than a rideshare option.
